Hey, I've been considering getting Silent Hunter V but I have one MAJOR Q
My computer is decently old
I have excessive amounts of RAM (4 gigs) and a somewhat decent graphics card (GeForce 8600), but only a 2.66 ghz dual core processor
Will that run it?
Thanks
My CPU is dual core 2.67Ghz. You should be ok in that department. HOwever, your graphics card is going to really struggle. I had an Nvidia 9800GT (1GB) and it sort struggled. Got a GTX 460 and it runs like butter. Your CPU is fine but upgrade the GPU if you can

Ugg - internet connection required... A Bandwidth hog...
You only need to be online to start the game. It doesn't have to be constant.

If you do get it, make sure to get a boxed version, the steam one apparently has issues. Amazon is selling for 5 dollars.

Oh, good.
I remember having some games where internet had to be constant and it was hell on my internet bill
it should run, once u load it it will patch, then get some mods.
