Seriously. This movie was so bad that i turned it off about a quarter into it.
I don't think i've ever come across Seth Rogan before, my God, what a terrible terrible actor!
I will stear clear of any movies with him in it.
The humour was brain-less, and much of it needless, the shallowness of the actors and the plot was also bad.
I should have listened to imdb, which i usually do.
Don't waste your time on this.

Im surprised you've not come across this guy before. :hmmm:

If you find him in his niche - he is great IMO. (His niche of course generally being movies associated with alcohol and marijuana use and off color adult themed humor)
I think your disappointment with Green Hornet stems mostly from the fact that fhe film spent several years in "development hell" - suffered from lackluster writing - and according to the New York Post "Seth Rogen was miscast..."

the film received a number of bad reviews, however as much as i have enjoyed Seth Rogen in other films, i dont think there are very many actors in hollywood that could have saved this one.

If you want to give Seth Rogen a chance, i recommend you take a look at a couple of his flicks entitled pineapple express and knocked up.

In the action comedy pineapple express he playes the role of a casual marijuana using subpoena server. After unwittingly becoming the witness of a murder, a king pin drug dealer kicks off a hilarious search for Rogen.

In the romantic comedy (if you could call it that) Knocked Up - Rogen playes the role of a stoner who has no ambition in life other than to hang out with his friends, get drunk and occasionally smoke a few joints. An up scale blond meets him in a club one night and this results in a drunken one night stand. Soon the blond - who is Seth Rogens total opposite discovers that she is pregnant and Seth's character struggles to grow into the father role.

he also has a fairly large role as a police officer in the movie Superbad and plays the comedic lead in the film Zack and Miri Make a Porno

Hadn't intended watching this but if it's really as bad as you say then it should be worth having a gander at to find out :DL

I just want plans to that coffee machine.

And yes, the movie wasn't even a decent popcorn flick I tend to enjoy when I just want to go braindead for a day.

Rogan is a decent actor in a terrible excuse for a movie.

"The Green Hornet (http://rogerebert.suntimes.com/apps/pbcs.dll/classifieds?category=REVIEWS01&TITLESearch=The%20Green%20Hornet&ToDate=20111231)" is an almost unendurable demonstration of a movie with nothing to be about
