Hey all, new here, just bought SH5 a couple weeks ago, I've never played anything in the silent hunter series before. I remember playing one that was actually on a floppy disk when I was about 12, the manual actually looked like something out of WW2. Now the name of it's bothering me, U-something? like a sub registration number. Anyways, liking the mods here, very easy to use with JSGME. I'm not really hardcore into realism just yet, maybe when I get bored, for now I'm just seeing what I can get away with in the stock game at 42% realist. Thanks to darkreaver for critical hits torpedo mod, although I can't download the god damn deck gun one as much as I want to, and the I'm enjoying the Das Boot sound mod. Cheers!

That was it, the manual looked like a beige envelope hahahaha! Figures within a few hours someone would get that question. I'll have to get back into that game with a dos emulator or a genesis emulator, although I don't think SH5 is in any danger of getting less play time.

It was good back in the day, but it definitely doesn't stack up to modern graphics...
Hope you enjoy SH5! :yep:
