Hey sailors,

So, I decided to break the normal patrol routine ComSubPac gives me and decided its time to roll the dice. So, upon inserting an agent successfully into Mororan beach, I decided since ComSubPac gave a go to patrol where ever, to cross the Tsugaru Kaikyo passage into the Jap sea.

And here is the best part! Reports all the time from the Jap sea!! I'm currently racing to intercept one convoy headed to the strait, but in a Porpoise class boat, USS Pickerel. Here is what I like about this sub;

- from trip start at Midway, to agent insertion in Muroran, to crossing the strait, cost me 25 percent of my fuel including 4 submerged daylight runs.

- Bridge fairwater is too low to give a low silhouette, doubt this would impact AI detection but so far I havent been detected but once..

but on the worse,

- Porpoise class boats have limited tubes so a 180 bearing for large delivery maybe warranted.

- Porpoise class boats have a shallow safe depth, upto 100 meters, which is fine considering I'm playing in the early 40s, but in 1944~1945 time, I should be having the Tench, or Balao class sous-marines.

My questions are:

- What mods do you recommend that;

A) wont change 1.5 interface, but still add some interesting feats?
B) wont fry my 5650 card?

this is because I want a renovation of mods.

I currently have this mod stack:

- Periscope and draft fix
- Better air patrols
- Optic sighting correction
- Better command keys (I made this one up!)
- Midway career

Guys, I also request the 32 and 8 degree FOV mod worked on and refined by captCox. If you could reupload the files to mediafire, I'd be much appreciated. I tried talking to cox but he seems off.

And guys, for the love of God, do post future mods to mediafire. their 200 mb limit can hold small teeny weeny mods like that one.

See you after the hunt.

Solo, sounds great. As far as the mods, I can't live (or won't play) without the NAV-MAP MAKEOVER by NbJackso. If your down to your last few Mb's you can use version 1.2 here; http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/downloads.php?do=file&id=2866&act=down
It's a great add on and a much more detailed map including airbases ect. The land colors are more detailed as well. I hope you can load this up, as I said, This is the first mod I load on install. Enjoy!
D40. PS: There is a 2.0 version as well.
