I would assume TMO's MAD sensor later war would be nerfed by RSRD, but not so sure. I'm also curious about the bombs/charges dropped. Before, some mild damage at 150 ft. I've been hit and almost destroyed at 200ft.

I'm beginning to think MAD doe's stick with RSRD over TMO. I've been at 200 ft plus at night for hours using mild TC when wham..damage, even killed twice. Know for sure I've been underwater for hours and no plane saw me or got me on radar. I've not seen this behavior before with RSRD, but would like to know how I check to see if RSRD nerfed MAD. I'm hoping MAD sensors stuck with the plane loadout and RSRD doesn't mess with it...Good stuff late war.

Using the Submarine School's artillery mission (Set on July 1st, 1943), I found I could consistently escape from the aircraft by crash-diving to periscope depth and then simply proceeding away on my initial course.

That would seem to indicate that the M.A.D. model is working since these aircraft would not be so equipped at this date.

Whether they would do any better in late '44 - i Don't know. I have not been able to check since I can't figure out how to change the starting date of the mission:damn:.
