Sh5 Doesnt want me to play it anymore....

Im not kidding. A couple months ago it worked fine. Now its trying to actively piss me off.

It keeps Dcing in the middle of things.

It Dcs Right as i start a patrol

It takes Many many game restarts in port for mods to finally kick in.

Almost every time i plot a course out of start harbor i have to run the gauntlet or moronic AIs that not only plot an intercept course with my boat (so it seems), but even when i turn past them and miss them by a couple degrees then go reverse and slam into me.

The depth keeping problems or CO2 problems or Damage problems are getting alot more frequent, requiring many saves and reloads.

And when i fired a salvo of 4 electrics, after doing all the delicate math, they dropped dead after 900 meters. And this without Duds on.

Sounds like something may have become corrupt....

I very rarely have any problems.

Maybe a clean install may solve these issues? :06:

look around your boat, i bet you find that Bernard is hiding somewhere

do a cleanup on your computer, its not unheard of for spyware to cause games to act up while they record what your doing

it wont let me uninstall. Wtf. I cant find the uninstaller, and whenever i unistall from the Disk menu, it starts to install another.

You can do it the hard way!

right click on the Silent Hunter 5 map and delite.
Look for Ubi soft in C: delite everything.
And last start regedit and do a search for Ubi or SH5 and if you find eny thing just delite .Re start the computer and do a new install
