Hi all,
A few of us noob captains (why the BDU would give us boats to begin with... :O:) grief some small convoys in multiplayer. One of the strangely few options (should be more configurable I think, but I haven't figured it out yet) is that communications can be "normal" or "radio". We chose "radio" so we can spam each other with "message received Captain!" but the default chat window is still up, and the messages go there.
We are not complaining, and we tend to use Vent or Mumble as a matter of course, but it would be more immersive if we could send radio messages.
Are we missing something?
We are using TDWs excellent UI mod - which should be near standard (there may be others similar or equally excellent) - and occasionally, when our brass bells exceed our hat size, we crank on TDWs also excellent IRAI. Then the ship hits the fun!
Anyway, not a big deal, but curious as to what we are missing.
