I have been using the excellent FM_Newinteriors mod for a while now, but due to changes and additions to the mods I am running I have had to disable it for stability reasons.
The only thing I really miss about it is the bridge view free camera that lets you 'walk' around the bridge/deck of your submarine. Are there any small mods that will add this feature without changing anything else?

Sorry to hear about the stability issues...
If you're looking for a small mod you could possibly check out:

I think the link in the thread is dead, but you can still snag it in the downloads section:

Here's a screen from the mod showing the feature you seem to be after:

Hope it helps! :sunny:

Cheers mate, this was exactly what I was looking for.
Strangely it didn't work at all when installed through JSGME, but it worked fine when I just manually overwrote Camera.dat with the replacement file. Now I'll see if I can get it to work with the rest of my mods...

king zog, heres a camera with a few good features:
free walk on bridge
wider angle lense
right click in the interior and you activate free walk (shift F2)

I have a large list of mods I install manually, so much so that I keep a separate Data folder that I install directly after any reinstall of the game. Likewise my Cameras.dat and Commands_eng.cfg. That way I don't have to reinstall most of the mods I use.
of course my JSGME folder is fairly full too. :sunny:
