I heard thought that it was buggy and didn't have proper support from maker after release. Is the rumors true, or has a lot of the bugs been worked out? I was a bug fan of SH# so I want to get into this game too.

Lastly, I noticed a lot of people with large amounts of mods for the game. Are there any mega mods out there that have smaller mods wrapped up inside them? Basically, I'm looking for the best meg mod out there so i dion't have ti hunt around for mods, other then skins for the 7c.

Regards....

I suggest getting a copy from Amazon for 5 bucks. This way your insured all the mods out and being built will be compatible. Some mods are not with Steam...

The vanilla version from Steam is pretty stable but I still run into a lot of small random bugs, though nothing that has stopped me from playing one bit since I got SH5 last weekend.

There are a ton of mods available tho. I'm pretty much a sim newbie and really enjoy learning with the vanilla game, but some of the mods do stuff like vastly improve the AI and make the user interface more efficient.

Great game tho. Again I'm not a hardcore simmer but SH5 is pretty challenging, has awesome graphics and I never get tired of walking around inside the U-boat.

honestly i would pay the money and get the box version. Ive heard alot of issues coming from steam version with the mods. And if you really want to play the game to its semi fullest you will want all the major mods.

I just bought it last week on Steam and personally I have not had any issues with that version with relation to mods or anything else for that matter. You will find it much cheaper elsewhere (until a Steam sale), I just like to have all my games on Steam for convenience reasons.
