Reminded me of the tale of when my grandmother looked after the family Labrador when we were overseas. She would cook an extra plate of food and take it out to the back porch. The dog would sit next to her and my grandmother would use a scarf to tie her ears back. She would the cut up the food and feed it to the dog, piece by piece, with the dog taking each morsel on command and gently removing it from the fork.:rotfl2:
