Ever have one of your crew members smile at you?

I recently downloaded a mod that allows you to walk around your ship/deck like a real person instead of magically teleporting from section to section. Only thing is you are also kind of like a ghost as you have no restrictions, can fly, and go through objects (awesome mod btw.)

Anyway, while fooling around with it, I noticed something.

I mean don't get me wrong, everyone deserves a good pair of munchers, how else would they eat their pork n steak n stuff. But here is the thing, aside from this mod, when would you ever see these things. Have any one of you guys ever been standing on deck, keeping an eye out for any ships you might be hunting for, enjoying the weather or whatever, when suddenly one of your men looks at you and does this > :DL?

Because most of the time, this is the look I get.

I tested a similar mod not too long ago that has a lot of the same features:

The main issue (for me) was a question of compatibility as it modifies the cameras.dat file which is also adjusted by FM's NewInteriors.

It all came down to a tough choice, but in the end I decided I couldn't live without the full interior package. Bit of a shame though as I would have loved to have gone for a free cam stroll down the length of the deck. :cry:

I will say that the ability to walk around on deck and the insides of your sub does add a heightened sense of immersion. (it's what makes the game playable for me without the free-cam enabled to be honest.)

I'm almost certain that FM's NewInteriors lets you do this. I had the mod installed a while back and found I could move the camera around with the arrow and I think the page up/down keys.

Even during silent running. They even wear a 7000 Reichsmark Gucci dress while loading the torpedoes. And those heels make so much noise that a convoy is notified of our presence while it's still in New York. That's the crew you get if you go hoochie woochie with the admirals daughter. And wife.
