Could the rumors be true, will Fox let go of this radical preacher...Bill'O hints at it and talks appear to be going on.
Let it be true......

I read somewhere that they were taking his show away, and giving him another show elsewhere on Fox

Remind me the show again.
If memory serves me well it's the very first television show which successfully disgusted me within a few minutes of watching it.
I hope he moves to Afghanistan. . . . . . .and join the Taliban or might as well give the man as a present to Kim Jong Il. Or let him has his show rolling from Tripoli under Gaddafi so that NATO planes could bomb the person.

What can we do when we have liberal media outlets like Fox squashing conservative voice?

the man draws on chalk boards as "proof" even if he hasn't lost it his show is a joke. I'm glad even fox news can't tolerate a complete farce.
I say good riddance. when it comes to bad journalism and sensationalism glen beck was one of the worst of the worst.

He is stepping aside to devote his efforts in a run for office.
Beck/Palin 2012
Though some say palin has crazy theories and is too much of an intellectual lightweight so will damage his chances.

Journalism? I suppose you consider Olbermann a "journalist" too...

Didn't he get whacked already, too?
Here's my thoughts: Beck, as silly as he was/is/could be, DID get people thinking about something other than the fact that government just sucks. I know that even though I wouldn't watch/listen to him, my eyes are better opened now than they were even ten years ago, as a consequence of the polarization he brought out. He's way too conservative for my tastes, much as Olbermann was way too liberal for me - I found both to be loudly distracting and divisive, which is not what we need right now... or so I thought then.
But what their boisterousness has accomplished is due to that polarization. It's like that old saying, "Lord, turn my enemies' hearts; but if you can't do that, turn their ankles, that I may know them by their limping." The strident voices on the extremes of both sides made themselves readily apparent via Olbermann and Beck, so it was possible to know them more easily.
So, with the playing field defined, we who aren't at those extremes must now emerge to contend with the voices at loggerheads and maybe start getting people into government who will actually get something done. Yeah, I know it's pie in the sky, but damn, something's gotta give.

Run for office? These two need to quit while they are ahead.
I have never been able to stomach any of the opinion shows on TV, regardless of network. It's not fair to paint Beck as a bad journalist, since I doubt he's ever called himself one. It's an opinion show, so it's like reading a blog.
I have heard Beck a few times on the radio while driving, and I listened a while so I'd have some sense of where he was coming from. I found him first to be annoying (he pauses a lot (for whiny, dramatic effect?), and dead air is incredibly bad radio). I think like any of these goons there is probably some truth in there here and there, but he's such a loon, any good data that might be contained is wiped out by the crazy.
I listened to Hannity on the radio a few times as well. One time, he was taking a side that I agreed with... and managed to pick the worst possible argument to defend it. Stunningly dumb guy, IMO, when you can take something that is basically self-evidently true, and pick an argument for it that is so bad, I want to disagree with it (pretty much universally true any time someone takes a conservative stance (that is correct WRT the Founders) and uses religion to back it up).
FWIW, the 2 radio shows I have listened to the most are by a wide margin NPR Morning Edition, and until a few years ago... Democracy Now! The latter is total moonbat leftist propaganda. At least as nutty as Rush/Hannity/Beck, but it doesn't claim to be opinion as they do, it claims to be the unvarnished truth. For years I listed to that 1 hour a day just to know what the other side thought. I tried to listen to Air American a couple times when it was on, but that was at least as nutty as Beck, every single show I heard (no hosts memorable at all, and the only one I remember the name of was Al Frankin).

I can not say if he was better before because I never really watched him but the other day I watched for about 5 minutes. He stopped talking and said, "Let's pray about that." or something to that effect.
Beck-demagogy at its best but not totally crazy loon.
He has some good points sometimes.

That's why people like Beck scare me, they take bits of the truth, manipulate it with radical doctrine and apply religious fear tactics.
No different than the way fake TV preachers get old ladies to send in their SS checks.
He will always have a following of radical believers, but even that is too radical for Fox and that's saying something.
He'll do good on radio and that's where he belongs.
