Disappearing convoy

Hey all,

Long time AOD, SHIII (& GWX) player, new SHV player.

Okay the gist of it, I sink 3 freighters in a convoy heading out to the Atlantic from the channel, I work my boat around the convoy to hit them again from the front and just as I close within 6 km the whole convoy disappears.

Man, am I pissed!

Sounds like you just found them at the end of the last way point they were set to follow. Bummer.

yep, at the last waypoint the go poof :o

i had a carrier do that to me with 4 torps about to hit :damn:

i had to turn off the game for a while lol


all you can do is remember they will go poof at some point so dont make any long drawn out afair of plotting to get in front of them. if you cant do it in short order 10-15km you might want to let them go to avoid wasting the effort.

it all depends thou since some ships will stay on the map a long time and it pays off for you.
