When I was 15 YO I tried out for the varsity BB team. Because of the weather the trial was held in the gym. This was when the gym floors were wood, not the pseudo rubber, and boy the balls were coming fast. much faster than ever you could imagine.

To make a long story short, I made the team. But those darned curve balls ate my lunch.
