Still watching it, but the link for me started at :35, and I was like, oh a big stick with a rubber band that shoots machete. then i was like OMG NOZE Trigger and everything!

Wow, really dumb. As kids, we used to make crossbows with green saplings and twine (hooked to a notched 2x4) that would shoot cattails very far (sometimes dipped in gas and lit ;) ).

This is far less useful.

Strikes me he could have doubled or trebled the tubing and shortened the gun.

Does anyone remember the Soviet Ballistic Knife what was popular for about 15 minuets at gun shows in the 1980's? (afterwhich they were quickly banned)

I saw people pay big bucks for them. I think the ability to sell Russian cheaply made knives for a lotta money to Americans was what convinced the Soviets to give Capitalism a chance. :D
