Arlington's Grave Mix-Ups: Will the Army Ever Fix the Problem?
Many are still talking about this being a problem trying to computerize the database/problems with a contractor. I just don't understand that. This is two variable data problem
1. Name of dead
2. Number of grave
Why would they need to hire a contractor to come up with a computer program to handle this?
This can be easily handled in a double entry index card system or if you want to get fancy, excel spreadsheet.
This problem does not seem to be fixable other than spending cubic buttloads of money digging up pretty much everyone and redoing it.
What a fuster-cluck. One would think that the one thing the Army is good at is burying dead guys.
Most sad situation.
