SLI for SH5?

The last few days I've been trawling for anything about getting SH5 to work with SLI and found nothing...is it possible? heh I really could use the extra fps for this game....using d3d antilag and priority set to high and still only get 20 fps in the command room - 30 fps on the bridge (fraps) :damn:

lol I hate 1/2 way shadows...if SLI worked for this game it would be a lot faster

heh tried that already...shadows look a lil better but the fps is the same...tried everything I could find so far...came to the conclusion that if I want better frame rates from my current hardware I a) have to set shadows to 1/2... or b) get the game to run in SLI...so if there is no way to use SLI I will have to go buy that gtx580 I been looking for an excuse to justify spending $500 on...thanks tho :)

yes sir I know that not all games are SLI friendly, which is why when I built this rig 3-4 years ago I only put in a pair of 9800 gt's ($100 each at the time) instead of a gtx 295 ($300+ each and top end at the time)...I got the same (in some cases better) performance as the 295 for less money...also, there were SLI nHance profiles for sh3-4...was hoping mebbe the same was the case for sh5... but I guess not...so 1 gtx580 is the logical upgrade at this point sir, considering I've already started building my i7-950 rig, and will be needing the new card for that build. There's no point in spending a grand for 2 580's when I'll never SEE any difference in games until the 580's are $100 each lol...and when you consider that Dragon Age 2 etc. runs superbly on max settings with my pair of 9800gt's, and that sh5 is the ONLY game that gives me any lag at all...I'd say my SLI strategy of 3-4 years ago was pretty well founded, but it's time to upgrade

i have 2 GeForce GTX 460 in SLI with the graphics all maxed out and not a problem at all...(bought myself an Alienware Area 51 all maxed out for myself for Xmas)
