"VIIC41 - Start with in beginning of campaign" Mod

[DelphiUniverse]

This mod works for both Regular SH5 and also for Open Horizon II 1.9. Archive contains both, choose one of them based on what you already have installed. If you choose the OH version, be sure to install Open Horizon before you install this mod.

I have created a very small mod. This mod will give you the following:

The VIIC/41 U-Boat from the beginning of the campaign and throughout the game in all flotillas (Forever)
All torpedos available, the cost is original and untouched with 1945-inflation
All equipment and upgrades available
All weapons upgrades available
All skins available
All emblems available


I had been looking a long time for such a mod that allowed you to begin the campaign with the best u-boat, best equipment, best weapons and skin/emblems. I didn't find one so I created one myself. You still have to buy the equipments. You start off with the best u-boat, the VIIC/41, it has a stronger hull than the VIIC and it is also lighter (ironically) which makes it faster and better maneuverability.

I have tested it with many mods, no compatability issues and you use JSGME to install it. Info file included.

Btw, do you recommend Open Horizon mod? There are so freakin many mods available now, I don't know which to choose.
I want the game to remain somewhat stable and have nice periscopes, nice sounds. What mods do you recommend?

The mod "type C41 for OHII" is not a good mod anymore.
With the new campaign (MG) - it will no longer work after v1.8 and cause ctds
You could update to work with or without OHII

Hi. I converted the OHII version to be compatible with the latest OHII. It works, but now I have a problem that the periscope graphics are gone every second time I load the game (white screen) both the attack periscope and obs pericope. Have the names been changed for the periscopes somewhere since the last Open Horison release, when this mod used to work?

Give it a try.
Placed mine after Open Horizons 11 mod. I get problems with SH5 ref:- CTD anyway, but, do not attribute them to this mod.
My problems appear whether this mod is enabled or not enabled.
let.s face it, who does not get problems with Ubisofts' great little gaming disaster?
