Sounds like whiskey for Queers :haha:
Jack Daniel's is about to roll out its first new expression in a generation: Jack Daniel's Tennessee Honey.
The new libation starts with Jack Daniel's Old No. 7 and mingles it with a special honey liqueur. The result is a smoother, sweeter version of Jack that is just 70-proof.
The addition of liqueur does give the finish a vaguely medicinal, cough-syrup taste in the background of other flavors like butterscotch, pear and honey.
I'll pass.

Odd. I've always considered the charcoal flavor to be a gimmick, so I suppose that this is a gimmick of a gimmick. I've never been a Jack man, and creating cough syrup-flavored charcoal whiskey is not going to make me into one.

You can mess with lots of things, but don't mess with my bourbon. :x

I would try it! :()1:
If it tastes like it sounds, I can still use it in my effort to convince the Frau of Whiskey - and to save her from the evil spirit of vodka!
If we both don't like it, I have something to offer to uninvited guests... :O:
Sounds like a version of Southern Comfort.
Which is only drinkable if it's mixed with Ginger Ale!

It is only drinkable if there is nothing else available and you are really desperate.

Mine as well.

Well, sipping this stuff i'd hazard a guess would make the pain last longer (and the lovely cough syrup taste interlaced with the charcoal) to linger on that tongue of yours, which will then be numb forever more! :O:
