I issue an order to "man the flak gun" or " man the deck gun" and I get the responce, YesSirYessirYesSi..between 3 to 5 times, then it cuts off in mid word. I've got two speech fixes installed and I'm wondering if they are needed with 1.5. I just took out 'Speech fix Rev2' but put in Speech overhaul instead and I got a couple of sound FX I've never heard before including a bell after ordering "all stop" or something like that, (I'd never heard the bell before at all). The other one is 'EAX sound sim Without Websters ship manuvering'. Other than these two commands for the guns, the other speech files "seem" OK.
If anyone has been able to fix this after having this problem I could use an X-tra hint. If I disable most of the mods, the problem would surely go away but I need to know if the missing speech issues were fixed with 1.5. I can't find the list of fixes for the 1.5 upgrade.
Thanks Mates

Yeah, it can be annoying. I've had this happen (on occasion) right from the Vanilla version and continuing (so far) through all the major mods. Don't recall ever seeing a patch or a fix though.

well, you can remove the ogg file associated and I think the interruption happens when you shift crew members from their posts or leaving a post dry for sometime. When I'm at the office, prior to deployment, I remove all personnel from the conning tower and the bridge, this way I get a swarm of ship spotted after I reach AO, and put everybody back in place. For the repititive orders just remove the ogg files AFTER backing them up.

I tried a few things last night, one, obviously was to try removing the mods which, predictably seemed to work, however since this is not an option (I would rather put up with the repeating than not have the mods installed), I placed the mods back again. Of course, the order was different and I didn't hear any repeating crew responses, at first anyway.
Yeah, Solo, I remember that problem on start up with a crewman repeating something like "All Stop All Stop" and I had to go back to the office to get it to stop. This particular problem was specific to certain orders; "Man the Flak gun" and "...Deck Gun".
I think by placing the mods in a different order and taking out one specific mod that was probably not needed anymore, hopefully it's gone away for good, I'll have to see. Other than that, the only other thing I would like to stop is those stupid prompt screens for "Ship spotted" and " Aircraft Spotted" asking me if I want to dive, engage ect...this actually (how can I say it...) P-ss-s me off, but that's going to be my next post anyway.
For now, Thank you Solo and Wernher!:salute:

I like when I load a saved game, sometimes I get about 5 "passing thermal Layer".....while cruising on the surface. :har:

Crew repeating orders is what was procedure on a fleet boat. Every order given was repeated and acknowledged. However, the "yes sir, yes sir, yes sir, yes sir" is a bug.

For the most part, i've fixed these issues, and enhanced the playback in my own work, though i don't think anyone noticed.

It doesn't happen nearly as often as it did in stock but, I still get repeats on occasion. Stock was very annoying. I've had it occur least often in TMO. Hmm, with that in mind, thanks for addressing this in TMO.:salute:

Ducimus,
It won't be long now, I'm going to be playing TMO very soon, I'm sure I'm gonna' be blown away by the work. I can't wait to have 7 men on the deck gun, and a captains cabin to hang out in when I want to light up. AHA!!
