First of all,hi,i'm a brand new member.I hate being new and right away asking for help and all that but i've looked everywhere and got nothing. Here's the deal:
I'm playing in 100% realism and when my estimations are close enough on the map, when the cursor is over the position where the hostile ship should be i can see its details (like when it happens with contacts visible on the map).I know that this bug is allready known to the community but i haven't found a fix for it (not just here,i've googled about it too).
Is there any way to make those buggers completely dissapear?

Make what completely disappear? We need to see a screenshot to see exactly what you're referring to.

Sorry,i saw people talking about it in the list with the game's bugs and i thought i didn't need a screenshot about it.

If you can show me what you're talking about I can probably provide an answer :yep:
Disable the show map contact in the game option and you will see no more details on any target on the map. Those details are show only if you have this option enabled, yes.. its a bug. You have to do it in the bunker to make it effective. Or use TDW UI realistic navigation ... it can be enabled while on patrol.

If using my UIs mod you can disable item notes to remove the info displayed above the messagebox. As far as the 'Merchant' appearing where your cursor is edit the \data\Menu\menu.txt file and comment out (add a leading ; to them) the following lines:
820-825
Save file

Meh,i wanted to check it quickly but i don't have a savepoint while being in the bunker.I don't think i'll have a problem though.
One more quick question guys (sorry!:D),does any of those ways make also the "merchant" indication dissapear too?You know,i don't want to get any single clue about the ship's actualy position.
I forgot to say,i don't have any mods installed yet,i'm actually a newbie and i stopped playing for awhile because this turned me off (this and a huge spoiler that i read in another forum >_>).
If you use TDW real navigation addon, you will be completely blind. 120% realism and will make the game very hard, like a real sim.
