And the classic moves on. Patch 5.5 has been released just ten day ago. Amongst others, the workaround to get the game running again with correct colour palette under Vista and W7, has been included. 15 MB, to be found at Shrapnel's homepage. As usual, all existing patches must be attached, in sequence.

Good to see they are still producing patches for this game. I will have to DL it again when I get my netbook back from the repair shop. :yeah:

I wish they'd make a comprehensive patch at some point, just had to go through reinstalling the game and having to install eight patches over it is bloody annoying.

Excellent game, though. Especially considering the price...

Always loved the SP series, ever since SSI had it back in the days of Steel Panthers. SPIII lost me for awhile - the larger scale seemed to lack something, but when Shrapnel got their hands on the series, I was re-hooked. Missed not being able to play it for awhile; Vista support makes me much happier.
