A shock!

We made the decision to move out and buy a property further out bush and two days ago we inspected a place out near Hornsdale, old stone home on 50 acres, we met the sales agent and the owner (shook hands etc) and inspected the property, took around 1.5 hours then left to think it over.
A short time ago we heard on the news that a house burnt down near Horsdale and a man was found dead inside, it was the same property, the agent phoned us!:o
I can still hear his voice and see his face,:cry: seems it was an electrical fault, not only is this upsetting but it could have easily been us!:oops:
You just never know when your time is up!!:hmmm:

In relation to the elctrical fault, i wonder, the house looks quiet old, wonder if it was thoroughly checked for faulty wiring etc.

I think the house was early 1900's, certainly needed some renovating but had been rewired, I noted that it was plastic, maybe he was working on it or something!:hmmm:

Thanks, yes it really is sad, the guy (name was Dave), a loner, was selling to move to Queensland to be with his new girlfriend, according to what the neighbor said, she will be devastated I suppose.:hmmm:
