Those look like they have been tossed around like a bunch of bathtub toys. :o

One thing I kind of thought interesting in my own weird way was that even though the ship in the sixth photo doesn't look that big it still dwarfs the excavator sitting next to it. That excavator doesn't look like a small one, either. I'm thinking it may be around 20-30 tons.

One can certainly hope so.

In all seriousness though that is quite incredible, and like Neal says, it's going to take ages to clear them off, I imagine most will be write-offs as their keels will have been weakened too much to use again.

For the ships that are on land, how long would it take to strip a ship down to the point that it can be removed?

Not that long, maybe a few weeks (or less) with a number of gas axes.

That little silver boat looks to be doing alright.

For the ships that are on land, how long would it take to strip a ship down to the point that it can be removed?
If the ships in question aren't too far from the water, and if the external hull damage is minimal, it might be more cost-effective to dredge a channel to the ship and refloat it.
