is one supposed to hear the engine while gunning, and when starting up in 3rd person? I installed MMP4 and no engine from those positions. reinstalled TvT and it's still not there. thx

I'm guessing there's no fix to get that audio back? reinstalled a coupla more times and still nothing. even went thru the registry.

That is odd. There has to be a cure I just couldn't tell you what it is unfortunately.

Hi Capt,

You have a very odd problem there. I do not have an answer for you other than the stock ones. Have you tried the audio files in the Sounds folder, just to make sure they are working?

yeah, wave files work. there are 2 files there which are just that, files. I just have to select program fome a list to hear them. tiger_engine_on.pk and ..._idle.pk I have no idea if they're supposed to be there or not. and why would a MP mod cause this? all sounds are there in game, except for when gunning, external view F6 and the drivers position too.

oh, murkz, while you're here, how is the patch installed? it's zipped, patchTvsT_v_1.zip no .exe and when I copy each folder to its respective location I get some error on running TvT. heres a thread :http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=180321

edit: found that if I turn up both ingame and headphone volume to full the engine audio is there while gunning ,whereas driving it's very faint and not there at all in external view F6. prolly not much to go on

This is from T34 v Tiger Help Site (http://www.hitenter.co.uk/tvt) ... which is sadly down in the moment :shifty:

maybe this will help :yeah:

"There is a codecpack that helped a lot of people with video or sound problems"

Q: Game crashes upon playing intro videos.

A: In order to display the introvids, the latest videocodecs are required. There is a codecpack that helped a lot of people with video or sound problems. The k-lite-codec pack can be found here: http://k-lite-codec-pack.softonic.de/)installing this pack might solve your video problems. Alternatively, deleting the intro vids from the game directory (not recommended) forces the game to skip the vids and fire up the game instantly.

Strange problem, Have you tried MMP5 from www.panzersim.forumotion.com (http://www.panzersim.forumotion.com)? MMP7 coming soon, it has majorly reworked sounds (along with a lot more).

yeah and had something rather odd happen, after looking for a server and going back to SP. my Tiger would spin 360deg along multi axes:06:. got a feeling mmp7 would be thesame way. been a few months soince I last played anyway. it's only got 6 missions per side:wah:
