I would choose....
The 1968 dodge charger from Bullitt, replace the glass with plating, and gunslat some sheet metal, the open areas being covered with chicken wire. The interior would be plated. since the front end is just a giant aerodynamic drag, I'd mount a v-shaped plow on it, blower-supercharge the hemi, the suspension upgraded with some rally tires. The passenger seat would have space for a .30 caliber machine gun (for awesome post apocalyptic girlfriend usage), and there would be bedspace in the back, with storage space for my 20mm anti tank rifle, and some other small arms.
since the charger is a heavyweight to begin with, I figure I'd turn it into a tank. low slung killin' machine

Just to be clear, I banned Tchocky this morning, here's what happened: He posted an image of a floating carrier, hotlinked from some other website, as we all do occasionally. However, this website had some kind of script that switched out hotlinked images with a really bad porn image.
I came along and only saw the porn image, and pushed the nuclear button on poor Tchocky. Here is the picture he intended to display (rehosted by Hunter ICX). My apologies, Tchocky (but be more careful!).

Yea, it's a no-brainer really, that's what i do too.
Hotlinking is wrong on several fronts, stealing bandwidth from the host's website, image being hotlinked can be changed into God knows what by host at some stage, and it's pretty rude too to hotlink.
Actually a lot of forum sites don't allow hotlinking.
May i ask why we do here?

Ya in this case the trap was that our forum software switches ~ in the image link Tchocky to code %7E, which caused an entirely different image to show up. This was probably intentionally done by the webhost as a lot of forum software will switch certain symbols to code, but that can represent a different link.

And from the comments:

"Yeah, that’s neat and all, but does it transform? Better yet, does it talk in Hugo Weaving’s voice?"

Mind you, the dam Italians weren't much better with their equipment and technological advances :O:
We sure knew how to pick our allies back then.
This is O.T. but makes for interesting reading
just on the Japanese technology transfers:
By 1944 Japan had requested and received either working models or full production designs for the following:
#
German techniques for manufacturing cartridge steel for large gun barrel linings;
#
Finished artillery pieces;
#
105 and 128 mm heavy anti-aircraft (FLAK) guns;
#
the 75 and 88 mm field pieces and anti-tank guns;
#
the Würzburg radar system;
#
750 ton submarine pressure hulls;
#
the PzKw Via Tiger I tank;
#
the ****e Wulfe 190 fighter;
#
the Henschel 129 tank-busting aircraft [This rather odd-looking twin engine aircraft had a bulbous cupola slung beneath the nose of the main fuselage, in which was mounted a 75mm automatically reloading high velocity anti-tank gun projecting from its nose. It was a deadly and efficient tank-busting airplane used with great effectiveness on the Eastern Front, curiously resembling a similar ground assault aircraft in the modern American arsenal, the A-10 "Warthog"];
#
the Heinkel He 177 heavy bomber;
#
the Messerschmitt 264 long-range Amerikabomber;
#
the Messerschmitt 262 jet fighter;
#
the Messerschmitt 163 rocket-powered fighter;
#
the Lorenz 7H2 bombsight; the B/3 and FUG 10 airborne radars;
and perhaps significantly, Twenty-five pounds of "bomb fuses."

Not quite, only one variant had the 75mm gun, and it was built in very small numbers towards the end of the war. Most of the Hs 129s used standard autocannons and bombs (Maybe rockets too, can't remember) to attack tanks.

One officer dropped a flash-bang (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hand_grenade#Stun) grenade down the bulldozer's exhaust pipe, with no immediate apparent effect. Local and state police, including a SWAT team, walked behind and beside the bulldozer occasionally firing, but the armored bulldozer was impervious to their shots. Attempts to disable the bulldozer's cameras with gunfire failed as the bullets were unable to penetrate the thick 3-inch bullet-resistant plastic. At one point during the rampage, Undersheriff (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Undersheriff) Glenn Trainor managed to climb atop the bulldozer and rode the bulldozer "like a bronc-buster, trying to figure out a way to get a bullet inside the dragon".[2] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marvin_Heemeyer#cite_note-cozine-1) However, he was eventually forced to jump off to avoid being hit with debris.[2] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marvin_Heemeyer#cite_note-cozine-1) Further attempts to mount the bulldozer were hampered due to oil that Heemeyer had spread on the vehicle to hinder such attempts.How soon we forget the Finns... Never heard of him, but wow! :o
One of the most amazing parts of the story is that, despite his trail of destruction, he was the only fatality.
