What the title says, what is the best dynamic campaign.. I want to play a game and enjoy my career... well until I die. I tried out free falcon and I gotta say, DAMN, that is a pretty dynamic campaign.. I wish Arma had some sort of career mode that would be SWEET.
So do share.. Also I don't have a1o yet but how does it stack up to black shark? in the single player campaign area.

Falcon 4.0 and its derivatives have, I believe, by far the best dynamic campaign I've ever seen.
I haven't played A-10s campaign yet, but I believe it's pretty much the same as Black Shark's in the way it works. I do recall hearing they are working on a dynamic campaign for the series, though.

Have to agree. the Campaign in Falcon x.x is fantastic. I alway really liked the campaign in Over Flanders Field as well but it's a couple of years since I last played it and I have no idea how it is now.
there are not many ongoing dynamic campaigns - sadly most games go with mission generators rather than actual dynamic campaigns. Some of these are well done, but in the end not REALLY dynamic.
Other honourable mentions besides the all-round winner Falcon include Battle of Britain (check out Wings of Victory), and, if you're willing to dig into mods, is the Enemy Engaged series (EECH and EEAH). Both of them have persistent campaigns and BoB's especially is satisfying in that you can actually just play it as a strategy game, with the entire campaign under your direct control (or just fly a single pilot instead).

Yeah, I was going mention Battle of Britain 2. Similarly, MiG Alley also had a very good dynamic campaign, and I suppose the original BoB had one too, though I'm not sure since I never played it.
Red Baron 3D's dynamic campaign I also liked a lot, not because it was particularly in depth, but because it had some very good immersion.

Yep, the first had a campaign similar to the second's. Not sure if they changed anything in BoB2.

Any total war series, Hearts of Iron series, IL-2 series, Silent Hunter series and Wings over Israel, Vietnam and Europe(though their dynamic campaign is pretty weak).

Total War and Hearts of Iron don't really qualify as dynamic campaigns, as their campaign is the game itself.

Well, not entirely... there is multiplayer, scenario mode, and instant action type stuff too. Campaign is definitely a big part of the game though.
^ speaking about Total War

Yeah but the campaign is dynamic :O:. Falcon 4.0 is also about the campaign mainly. But I was aware of that and merely trying to broaden his view. :DL
