I can't send contact reports !

Hallo

I'm playing this wonderful game for 2 weeks and now I'm on the wolfpack mission.
My question is how can I send contact reports to bdu in order to attack the convoy with other U-Boats.
I was accually able to send convoy reports by the button near the status report button in the captain's log.. But in this mission it's not working when I see a convoy to report so I can't send anything to anybody but I want other U-Boats to join my hunting party.. I can't have a party by myself..can I? :D
So I need your help guys to send that Tommies to the bottom of the sea and Thank you ;)

Are you on the surface? And do you actually have visual contact with the convoy?

Make sure you have the sub AI hydrophone fix for ctds .
As far as i know , if you are in an area where there are other uboats and you shadow the convoy long enough they will turn up . So you need 2 things , be in an area where other uboats are operating and shadow long enough for them to turn up .

I realized that I was assuming that I was in the visual range of the convoy because of my hydrophone.. it's working even on the surface so I'm gonna try to fix it now.

Hmm.. You mean I must search for a patrolling wolfpack instead of searching for a convoy to attack.. right?

No.. but what he is saying is if there is no wolfpack within the area.. they aren't going to leave their own operations area just to chase down your convoy if its to far away.

If you are in the mission "attack with wolflpack" in black may
then yes. For me that was the only way I found to get the
points.

What I did was, find a wolfpack (this is easy as there are lots of then)
Join in (match speed and heading)
Wait for them to attack convoy - then you must attack also:up:

I understood but I'm in happy times right now and apparently I will be on my own untill the black may :) Thanks..
