I haven't seen Golden Rivet in a while too. Kinda like the guy. He and AVGWarhawk are probably one of the most civilized here. Any people who are close to nature or whose job constantly remind him of the vulnerability of life and man will always be shaped as humble and warm people :O:
GR Posted today! Here is his last post::hmmm:

GR Posted today!
And five times yesterday. I don't know why anyone would think he hasn't been around.
TarJak, on the other hand, hasn't posted since the 9th. That has me worried a little too.

And WTH does "posh" mean?
POSH means Elegant, swanky, rich, upper class....someone speaking with a posh voice/accent.
It is believed the origin was the result of 'Port out, starboard home'
Passengers on P&O (Peninsula and Orient) passenger vessels that travelled between the UK and India in the days of the Raj, with Britain and India both being located in the northern hemisphere so the port (left-hand side) berths were mostly in the shade when travelling out (easterly) and the starboard ones when coming back. So the best and most expensive berths were POSH, hence the term.

Every reference I could find kindly lists that explanation as "without foundation".

This whole 'posh' thing reminds me of a term we in Ohio now use.
'Tennessee traveling'
It means rigging something to work on your car to get by.
It was at one time called N***** rigging.
But that term is strickly a no-no now.
So we had to come up with something a little more discriptive.
I'm sure the Tennessee Guys will take offense.
:haha:
But as my family came from Tessessee and maintains our own GraveYard there to this day?
Deal with it you Stump Jumpers!
