Starting Over?

I have the save game on server turned off and yet the games are being saved there because it still insists on synchronizing the game. I deleted all saved games from my users folder and wanted to start a new career but the UBI server had my previous career up and running immediately. I haven't tried deleting inside the game, would that also delete from the UBI server?
