How did he get a talk show, was it by default?

I have watched his show a few times now on CNN and his interviewing skills really suck. He talks about the issues and has the right questions but he comes back with a dumb question cutting off the response that might actual be interesting. And he does it over and over.

Watching the interview with some you could see the frustration of his never ending interruption.

I watched his show tonight for about 30 seconds and had to change the channel.

I not even sure who this guy is and why I should care...

CNN and MSNBC are moving more to entertainers to try and get ratings up.
You have several liberal cable networks splitting that audience, they will never have hight ratings like Fox..

I don't get my news from any cable outlet..

America,

So sorry for sending you some of our trash.

Regards,

Great Britain.

Everyone here knows what a smarm-king morgan is, it's surprising you guys didn't twigg it.
Don't worry, if his wiki page is anything to go by, it won't be long before he gets up somebody's nose and has to leave.

We are really sorry for sending you Piers Morgan.

(He's the former news editor that allowed the alleged story of British troops abusing Iraqi prisoners to be printed, only for it to be a hoax, and got promptly fired)

Perhaps we should send Clarkson over to give Piers Morgan another smack?

Mexico is too lenient for that twonk, he should be sent air-freight to Siberia.

Sorry, its that they know he is a long time bottom feeding scumsucker who spent his time wallowing in the lowest dregs of the media.

Well, simply put, he's smarmy, arrogant, selfish, full of himself, and generally up himself. When he's been in charge of newspapers, he's sent reporters out to hound people and then reported on them when they've been rude to the reporters.
I don't know if you remember the Iraqi abuse hoax scandal back in 2004 where The Sun put out pictures that showed British soldiers abusing Iraqi prisoners which were later proven to be false, Morgan was the man who authorised the publishing of them. His upstanding credentials are work on such literary delights as 'The Sun' 'The News of the World' and 'The Daily Mirror' as well as work on that fine non-bias publication 'The Daily Mail'. Those titles alone should give a hint at his personality.

Not many people in the UK like him, although I must admit I did read his book "The Insider: The Private Diaries of a Scandalous Decade" and it did make for fascinating reading. I guess he's quite good at his job, to get as far as he has, or he knows which arse to kiss which really equates to the same thing these days. :hmmm:

Anyway, hope that's answered a few questions Tak :yep:

Hey! Siberia already suffers from pollution and deforestation, don't add to the plight of the Amur Leopard and Siberian Tiger! I mean, what if the poor things should happen to eat him? Think of the environmental damage? :nope:

You'll probably get a 'feel' for him by looking at this Wiki link Tak:

Ahh, so he's tabloid scum. Sorry guys, I had no idea. And I didn't mean to seem smarmy with you, Tribesman; I just didn't have a clue.

Thanks for the details, Oberon and thanks for the link Jim. I normally wiki things I don't know anything about as a quick primer, but I didn't in this case. Silly of me.

Your welcome mate....I know Wiki will never be the 'definitive' source of information but in this instance it contained enough to give you an indication :yep:

It is quite informative, normally it would be hard to credit one of Murdochs red top scandal merchants sinking any lower when he moves on, but Piers proves it is possible.
