THIS is definitely not one for the Valentine's Day gift list. A new board game, which tries to help children experience the deprivation and struggle of life under communism, is set to hit the shelves in Poland.
In Kolejka, which means queue or line, the aim of the game is for players to buy basic day-to-day goods.
Confronted with food shortages, a lack of deliveries and people with “friend in government” cards is meant to help gamers feel the frustration of day-to-day life under the communist regime.

Looks like a winner, wonder if they'll do a online version if successful? :D
NOTE: To the Polish members, your thoughts?

No, no, no! It's not true communism. Because in true communism, there are no struggles. Anybody who disagrees with me is an imperialist, fascist, capitalist pig. :O:

I wonder if they will make one about capitalist America, where you have to avoid the gang bangers, the gun carrying republicans and its set during a so called economic recession. Then if things get even tougher, you are sent to a pointless war in the middle east where you are promptly shot in the back by a freedom fighter.
How does that sound?

It sounds very bitter. C'mon, it's just a board game, and from the sound of it not a very good one.

I'm sure us Brits would excel at this game, as we are best in the world when it comes to queuing:D

I`m from Poland. I don`t know this game... Shock lol ;)
Communism, it`s only idea, not real thing, in Soviet Russia - no communism, only kind of terrorism - this not a joke. Same in Poland, kind of soft terrorism, called socrealism?
To the first post: Kolejka, means small train too, so when I saw this, I tought it is game about small trains :wah::haha:
Kolejka TT 40, made by our friends from former DDR - East Germany. Good toy, really. Have a look below:up:
