hello friends,

after a while I have donwloaded the SHIII from the Steam .. it came already patched to 1.4... however when I wanted to install GWX on this fresh SHIII, I got this message:

"Modded files were found."

Do you have any idead how I can bypass this problem ?

You should have your Steam versuion in a separate area for example:

F:\Program Files\Steam

and ensure it is a fresh/unused/unmodded installation.

thanks a lot .. when you say "steam version", are you talking about the version of the game or the Steam itself ?

On my old 32bit system I have two internal HD.....named C and F.

My Steam folder is in drive F as are the games I've downloaded from Steam.

If yours are the same (and they should be) simply point the GWX exe (babsed within the folder containing said exe and seven bin files) to the Steam folder that contains your SH3 exe.
