I know it ain't important but I wanted to check it out anyway. Windows sidebar is in program files folder but when loading it nothing happens. Can add gadgets to desktop just no sidebar?

Yes there's no sidebar in 7 now. Basically 7 gives you the freedom to put gadget anywhere you like.

There's downside to this that sometimes files downloaded or moved to desktop would be under these gadgets. It's rather annoying.

Is that your desktop Castout?
Your GPU running at 49C? You have added cooling in there?

Hence, I have my gadgets to the right and shortcuts to the left. :O:

I kinda liked having a sidebar - vista sidebar then google sidebar for XP. MS leaves it out for 7 must a thought no owners of 7 will bother using it. Might see if google sidebar works for Win 7 64bit.

It's pretty nice and it doesn't need windows or google sidebars.

Yes that's my desktop

No I don't have added cooling in there. Is it rather high? :hmmm:

As I type this it is at 48 degree. That is in Celcius.

Kind of make the point of not having sidebar pointless don't you think?

I did that too before and the files still get placed under the gadgets. I tell you it's a conspiracy :D

Yea I too was surprised when I found out there is no sidebar for 7. It wouldn't be missed if the files would stop getting placed under these gadgets.

49 is pretty normal and even low for a GPU. My current one runs at 42 when idle, low 60s when gaming :hmmm:

It's 45 if I just started the PC :DL.

Umm I may add additional cooling when I get my 460 and the new PSU. Preferably a passive one. Nothing fancy though. I'd like the temperature to stay as low as possible to preserve the component lifetime. Not sure what to buy never bought additional cooling before.
