Keep HUD Minimized?

Is there a way to keep the HUD minimized and stop it from coming up every time i use the map? I would like to toggle it on my self when i need it, (i rarely need it.)

No. It annoys me very much too as Im also addicted to shift-z and keep the hud hidden. But I think TDW UI have some options to keep the hud hidden...

Im gonna try changing the toggle to a single key then, see if it makes life easier

In my UIs mod you have the best of both worlds available - you can set the HUD items to scroll offscreen when not in use. When you want to view them you mouse into the area where they are located and they scroll back onscreen. Mouse out of the area and after a user defined delay they scroll offscreen again.
