Question: Deselecting a Fleet

Every once in awhile I select a Fleet, issue orders (like return to base), and then I can not deselect that fleet. Instead, when I select another fleet it errors saying the orginal fleet can't go there .. Is there a reason the orginal fleet remains selected? How do I deselect when in this state?

It's under the right-click menu - right-click and press the "x" icon instead of the "v", and that will deselect the fleet. Sometimes it does get a little irritating, but once you get in the habit of deselecting the fleet after giving it orders, it's not a problem.
