The nominations for the 83rd Annual Academy Awards were announced Tuesday, with the drama "The King's Speech" leading the pack with 12 nominations, including best actor for Colin Firth and best picture.

Plan to see it, either on screen or on DVD. It may have the most nominations, but it has some very tough opposition against it.

I did not see this film, but now I really want to. And slightly OT, glad to see Jeff Bridges nominated for True Grit. I thoroughly enjoyed that film and his performance.
