First off, howdy, all. Been a while. :shucks:

I put off buying SH5 for a year to spare myself the blood pressure all you guys went through. And I see from my lurking that it paid off. :D Suckers! Just kiddin.

I'm going to install TDW's awesome-looking Mega-Mod here in the next couple of days, but wanted to try this ".02 version" out on a dry run just cuz I'm a sucker for punishment. It's this Texas heat that does it to me, prolly.

I have one very niggling question/issue/request: Is there a way to invert the Y-axis? I'm so used to pushing my mouse away to look down, pulling back to look up, in FPS's that I'm getting dizzy in my own boat. Ladders are only a problem for me because of this (not for the other reasons people had) and I like staying cooped in the conning tower where I belong. So both ladders give me hell, cuz I end up going the wrong way half the time.

I looked in the cfgs and no love. Can somebody help an old pirate out? :arrgh!:

Much obliged,
Cav

You guys're killin me.

Ok next and final question then I'll fade into the depths again... does any mod component in TDWs Mega-mod fix the stadimeter or am I going to have to continue using the ruler?

I can't answer either of your questions, mainly because I don't have SH5.

As for the mouse, there should be some way to do it. I just don't know what that is.

For myself, I like it the way it is. For flight sims I use a stick, and in normal everyday usage the cursor goes up when I move the mouse forward, so I guess I'm just used to having it that way.

Stadimeter is fixed in it. Totally automatic even - just lock onto ship and identify it then use stadimeter to get range :yep:

I second the request for inverted Y axis. Not including that option is tantamount to sacrilege. :)

We're sim fans here, isn't the whole idea of a reversed Y-axis originating from flight sims? :)
