Need help getting T-34 vs. Tiger to run

I installed on a different partition from Program Files', and chose XP Service Pack 2 and Disable Visual Themes under Program Compatibility. Yet TvT still CTDs when I try to start a single mission. It doesn't give an error code.

I'm running Win 7 64 on my AMD Phenom II 965 X4 Geforce GTX 460 with 4 gig of RAM machine.

Is there a patch? Is there a workaround?

Angus JS do you have DirectX9 C installed? Because I also have Win7and DirectX11 on my pc and I had to re-install DirectX 9C to make TvsT and other games work properly.I used the June 2010 version which is the most complete.

As well check your game folder to see if you have the following 4 dll files:

msvcr 70 and 71.dll and msvcl70.dll and msvcp71.dll.Without them your game won't start as well.

I ahve 2 versions of TvsT with ZeeWolf's mods on them and they work very well.I didn't even set any Win Xp compatibility as it was not required.

80% of the problems with TvsT are related to these issues.It's a very fussy game.

hi all
thanks to zeewolf, i dragged tvt out the bin and got it working fine. now that i have mastered the controlls, im ready to do multi play battles but i seem to have run into another little problem, when i click multi player, the program cant seem to find other online players servers/hosts. am i doing something wrong or has this game been taken off line ?
any suggestions would be welcome.

one more thing. i also hear talk of people playing SH3 online too ?

For multi-play I would talk to murkz, he would know. As for my work it will
be awhile before I get to the MP phase for now it's single player only.
