do you prefer the tdc on or off? why?
me personally, i use a combination of on/off, i've gotten so good at just eyeballing it and judging range/distance/speed just by sight that i don't normally turn tdc on, i also don't normally pay attention to the little dots either.
normally i turn tdc on if i feel like going for some under the keep shots, or if i have to sink a particular ship type (i use the ship identifyer but that's all, i don't worry about the other stuff, bearing, speed, etc etc, i just eyeball it)

i also pefer manually aiming with the 88mm, way more acurate shots and less ammo wasted

I must admit, I haven't yet figured out how the TDC works. :O: So it's all manual for me. And the deck gun, I man myself. The crew handles it very poorly on their own.

Hmm, nice threads. Thanks. I am getting quite handy when it comes to manual aiming though (SH3&4 was always played on full realism, when everything had to be done manually, and so is SH5), but I never play with map updates. I still don't understand the auto TDC though, the one with bubbles with numbers, but I guess I won't ever need it. Especially considering that the game crashes after about 5 minutes now, so I don't play anymore. Screw Ubisoft and them abandoning this ship....
