Edit:

I personally don't believe anyone who's being killed as worthy of being killed. It's usually the people who want the person dead being the ones who actually deserve an early exit from life.

I'm aware that it may or may not be related to the man's political career but honestly that too can't be ignored.

That title is rather deceiving. I thought that there was a shooting on the forum or something.

Well, I shot an airsoft pellet in my office while I was perusing the forum... does that count?

i think technically for it to be a homicide, there has to be a loss of life.

i would advise you to go ahead and kill the cat if you want to really make a name for yourself here at subsim.:haha:

If you saw this cat, you'd realize that in order for me to actually be able to kill it, I'd require something that would, guaranteed, violate at least three Federal laws on private ownership of "hardware" as well as give all the anti-gun lobbies all the ammo (pardon the pun) they need to strip us of everything down to rubber-band guns.

This thing is a MONSTER. And actually a pretty cool cat, as far as cats go. He also belongs to my wife's daughter, so yeah, you can see where I'm headed.

Why go through all the trouble of procuring a machinegun to kill a cat? Just use curiosity. :O:

That's just it... he's curious, but damnably smart, too. About the only thing that's nearly worked thus far was the can-opener + laminate floors combo, and he copped wise to that.

You own the business?! :O:

Umm I missed that. That title is also misleading. I guess we all love to use misleading title :D

I work from home, at the moment.

It's also less potentially inflammatory because it calls to attention what the man did, rather than associating him with someone else. My rationale for the thread title is in my last post in that thread. :)

Heh.:) Given the circumstances (settling my mom's affairs) not so much, but I get what you mean. No worries, though - I'm actually looking at striking out on my own "officially" once things settle down enough to allow me to focus.

I'm sorry that I was a bit abrupt; I didn't mean to come across that way, but dealing with telephones and creditors and lawyers has worn out my decency nerve.
