Once they are blue, they are safe to enter.

Since I am very rarely low on fuel, I've never tried refueling at one. I do tank up on ammunition, torps and fuel at Thalia and Corrientes fairly often, though.

So, once i dock lets say at Brest, i can start the new petrol with the same number of torpedoes but with full tanks or i get a new load of torpedoes too?

You'll be refueld and given a default loadout of eels.

The only task you can't undertake is upgrading equipment.

Thanx!Damn i don't want the torpedoes, weather is awful,no convoys spotted, only small merchants sunk so far and the IX is waiting me back home!

Then simply press the Esc key and teleport back to home base in an instant :DL

Only alternative is to fire off what you don't want when you leave port then.

Trying to work out how you can run out of fuel, but not torpedoes.

I just played out a patrol. Almost two months at sea, one sinking. It's not hard if you confine yourself to historical play.

2 months is about 75% of your tank.

its quite intresting visiting them after they turn blue. sometimes the enemy ships remain there, or maybe there is an epic firefight going on between the artillery and a ship.
