Just got the "offer of the day" from Amazon.de with links specific for SHIV. If you ever search one time, they'll pester you forever... :rotfl2:

But have a look:

Wow! That is good! Here in the States, Amazon.com is still $40, and used copies are more than half that.

IF I was to get SH IV, and in english, would those links work? I'm assuming that the Sprache: Deutsch means the game is in German?

So would one of those work, or would I better with http://www.amazon.com/Silent-Hunter-Wolves-Pacific-Gold-Pc/dp/B001BBS8B0/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1297109255&sr=8-2

SH IV "only" came in an english version.

If you're unsure about ordering, let me handle it. When ordering I'll just give them your address for delivery.

/edit: just saw your Amazon link... $30? :o

Well as I have about $75 in GC applied to my account there, I was going to use that. Don't have the funds to be using real money right now (Between jobs ATM).

If I 'blindly' order it from the De site, will it convert correctly? And shipping may be interesting...

EDIT: (Sometimes I'm sickened at Americans, and my in particular, lack of multi-lingual skills. It has always impressed me how most 'foreigners' speak multiple languages well. But that is a topic for another day)

Edit2: :(

You can always see what destinations the seller support.

And speaking german is easy, I've heard two year old speaking it fluently :D

Postage from Denmark/Germany is usually some $3-4 and I've always found the currency conversion to be fair.

If you have a specific link, I wouldn't mind checking it out for you. Or if something needs translation...

I was lucky enough to purchase a hard copy of SHIV (Gold Edition) from Amazon.Com (U.S.) when it was still relatively cheap, just over $11.00 with S&H. This was shortly before the release of SH5. About 2/3 months after SH5 was released, the price for SHIV had more than tripled.
