Patching Issue

So Ive finally figured out why I was having issues with certain mods... was not patched to 1.4b. This epiphany aside, when I ran the updater for it I got the message

"This program cannot update the installed version of Silent Hunter III US DVD v1.0 to v1.3 because of the following reason:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\SilentHunterIII\MissionEngine.dll: unknown version"

Its not the install location - I had the same result from installing it elsewhere

Do you have the US version or the European/Middle East/Asia version? The EMAE version you can get if you change language settings of the website to United Kindom for example. Stupidly enough, if I selected The Netherlands (my country), then Ubisoft doesn't even know about Silent Hunter 3. :nope:

Just re-installed it. Think I got it working now; had indeed used the reloaded crap :doh:
