a stand alone mod that allows you to get torpedo load out for your sub seperate from the game . I use it in SH3. It has the WW2 Steinbarsch walter torpedo with a 45 knots electrin no wak torpedo & 8000 range. It existed for the Germans. The same guy that did the XXI made this torpedo

I remember there being something like you described for SH4, not sure if it was Wolfies Tweak Pack or not though. Check out the downloads section and see if you can't find something in there.
