I placed an order with US wings for two light weight flight jackets on November 4, 2010.
Neither is yet to arrive as of December 30, 2010.
I had called them on November 19th and was told that one jacket was in stock, but the other was back ordered. They advised that as soon as the second jacket arrived both would ship.
I asked if it would be possible for them to split the order? shipping me the one they have in stock, and shipping the back ordered jacket when it is available.
They said that the would do so and get it out on the 22nd of November.
I waited about 10 days and nothing had arrived at my door, and no UPS tracking number was e mailed to me etc.
I called them back, and was told that the order was never split for some reason... they would split it and get right on it.
it never shipped.
I called them on Monday and was assured by the manager that he would get it out by 4:00 UPS pickup time on Tuesday the 28th of December.
I called today to make extra sure my order had gone out as the manager and I had discussed... it hasn't shipped yet to his knowledge and he has no idea why it has not shipped. he informed me that he would double check with his shipping department to figure out what the hold up was - or to see if it has in fact gone out at all. I'm expecting his call in about 20 minutes.
it is 11:11am
if he has not called me back before 1:00pm i will be canceling the entire order.
I have read recently of a few cases where it has taken these jokers 60+ days to ship an item.
if items are that badly back ordered they need to put something to that effect on their web site "This item may take 60 or more days to ship to you"
I will no longer be doing business with US Wings, Inc
