:o

Looks a bit buggy atm but if it's real then I hope someone throws some serious money at it.

I watched the 1st and a bit of the 2nd vid and frankly I can't see how it is possibly or efficient for gaming. Maybe I'm just too drunk (I really am), but doesn't CPU+GPU have to calculate everything you see?

As in, the shadows for example, they move, hence they have to be calculated. And that's what is eating the power currently. :hmmm:

Take a look at 3d softwares, they are always ahead of what games can do. we got 3ds Max/Modo for objects, Vue for enviroments, FumeFX for fire/smoke etc. If you want a hollywood level quality you look at render/simulation times of 20+hours on 1 6xCPU PC.

Of course, I'm hoping this is something that would benefit the gamers, but hell, 3D world already got "instants" to reduce the render times, yet it still takes time.

It seems I'm a little late to this party. There was some hype over this throughout the spring of 2010, then nothing...

Aye, I caught it then; looks very promising but it's so far from being implemented (aparently) and there just has to be catch. Not sure we'll see this anytime soon.

For one thing, the hardware is prolly not optimised to use this properly, but that's just a guess.

I hope these guys get into the game market but from what I see there not really interested in PC more for console and cellphones.. Which sucks because i'm tired of nvidia and ati crap... We need new blood into the PC world.. something new to keep it going... This stuff looks promising. :yeah:
