Just started SH 5...advice

My PC crashed and I lost all my SH 4 mods, patches etc..so I thought I should try the "much maligned" SH 5.

I enjoy the graphics and more updated feel of SH 5..but the interface takes some getting used to. What are the minimum basics I need in the way of mods.

I am patched to v1.2 and d/l an overall environment mod as well as the German language pack. Where can I get some mod that gives one the operational/interface icons that SH 4 had? I have seen some screen shots with them.

Is there a must have 4-5 mods that one needs with SH 5?

1/ Multiple user interface . Read the instructions and make changes in the user options . Includes the real navigation mod .

Where do I start with your mods? Used them in SH 4, but it looks like you have done many more here at SH 5?

And what does "Sobers Stuff" do and where are the values altered?

It's really weird, but I've just started a new campaign, skipped forward to late war, and I'm getting jumped by planes all the time. Some still fly blindly by, but alot are spotting me and moving in for the kill.

No AI mods installed.:06:

What MOD install program you using? Does JSGME work with SHV over the Steam version?

Works fine - you just have to copy it to your steam/steamapps/common/silent hunter 5 main directory as use as per instructions.
