Improvements on the Boot

Hai there,

Question: I'm in april '41 and in my 17th or 18th patrol and have not a had the possibility to improve anything (serious) to my boot.

I only could change the conning tower, which unfortunately i did. I still think it will slow be down while submerged. And yea, i also have an emblem added :yeah: and the possibility to ad a barrel or two to fight planes..... no thanks.


I want radar detection (biscay cros. ..... and sonar absorbing coating.....
(stupid thing is that i do have my radar receiver inside my conningtower.

I was looking for an overview like there is in SH3, where u can c what is coming out around what time. Cant seem to find it.... am i just stupid i cant find it, or is there none?

To keep asking stupid things, i have about 57 experience point to spend, but i cant spend it to anything while not all my crew is at max experience, how comes?

or: how can i reward my crew with medals? like in SH3?

Its almost like i have missed an entire screen in the game, you know, a button which will pop up an window i have never seen.

For the radar detection:

By August 1942, U-boats were being fitted with radar detectors to enable them to avoid the sudden ambushes which a radar-equipped aircraft or corvette might spring. The first such receiver, named Metox after its French manufacturer, was capable of picking up the metric radar bands used by the early radars. This not only enabled U-boats to avoid detection by Canadian and U.S. escorts, which were equipped with obsolete radar sets, but allowed them to track convoys where these sets were in use.

While the bright Leigh searchlight was rarely fitted to Sunderlands, ASV Mark II radar enabled the flying boats to attack U-boats on the surface. In response, the German submarines began to carry a radar warning system known as "Metox", also known as the "Cross of Biscay" due to the appearance of its receiving antenna, that was tuned to the ASV frequency and gave the submarines early warning that an aircraft was in the area. I did not know it was false information. In the book "Iron Coffins" i had read it an thought it was true.

Still missing the other things i mentioned though...
