Hi everyone - first time post - Been an avid SH3 player for a while - I finally decided that SH5 + mods would be a more than worthwhile investment.
Having purchased the game off steam and downloaded a heap of mods... I thought I was ready to go.
However after creating my ubi.com account and clicking to login - i get the 'cant connect to Ubi master server.. please verify internet connection and try again'
I searched on here and other forums.. and ticked off all the common problems with such a complaint... no proxy... firewall disabled (even uninstalled Comodo) - ubilauncher given admin rights - hosts file checked and aok - windows fully updated... etc and nothing helped.
I then looked at the ubisoft launcher and came across the launcher.log.txt file, the last entry on this log said "Unable to decode users password." so my question is this - will this be causing the unable to connect error? and if so is it something I can alter client side or is at Ubisofts end?
Im pretty eager after waiting all this time to play SH5 - so any help appreciated and thanks for taking the time to read this.
